TMS Data Enables Tremor Video to Deliver Localized Entertainment Listings within Video Ad Units
Integration of On® TV and Movie Data Gives Marketers Additional Opportunities to Drive Awareness and Viewership
New York, August 29, 2013 – Tremor Video, Inc. (NYSE: TRMR), a leading provider of technology-driven video advertising solutions, announced today it has integrated world class On® TV and Movie data from TMS, the leading provider of entertainment metadata, into its in-stream video ads. Through its proprietary VideoHub technology, Tremor Video will pull TV listings and movie showtimes from TMS into its advanced video ad formats. This marks Tremor Video’s first integration of third-party entertainment data within the user experience.

Based on its breadth, depth and connectivity, On TV and Movie data from TMS is widely known as the industry standard. Tremor Video now has access to information on 1.5 million TV shows airing on more than 15,000 cable and broadcast line-ups and 400,000 weekly movie showtimes covering more than 45,000 screens. Tremor Video is using OnConnect, TMS’ flexible data delivery API method to instantaneously populate its advanced video ads with the On data.
When a consumer engages with the Tremor Video ad creative, an overlay with a ZIP Code entry field will appear in the unit. Once the user enters this information, he or she is served a list of relevant TV providers or movie theaters in the local area. Based on the selection, the user is presented with localized information such channel numbers, program airtimes or movie showtimes. This valuable information complements the video element of the advertising and enables the user to consume the entertainment content that is being promoted.
The integration of TMS On TV and Movie data is available as of today, within Tremor Video’s Pre-Roll Plus, Super Pre-Roll, Preroll Extended Play and Super Pre-Roll Takeover ad formats in the U.S., and is expected to be available in Canada and the U.K. beginning in September.
